Manufacturers Group Meeting
25th September 2012, 5.30 - 7.30 pm
Digicomm BCS Ltd, Innovation House, Lostock Office Park, Lynstock Way, Bolton, BL6 4SG
Directions to the venue can be found here
The Guest Speakers for this month will be:
Vikki Stankus, Winning Pitch. Vikki will be joining us to explain how group members can benefit from the Growth Accelerator programme. Providing your business is registered in England, your turnover is less than 40m and you employ less than 250 staff, you can make the most of ERDF funding and rapidly grow your business. As well as expert coaching the Growth Accelerator program allows you to utilise Leadership and Management funding to pay for external training and development.
Juliette Yardley & Joanne Ramsden, Hearts, Minds and Wallets. Juliette and Joanne will be offering advice on managing personal finances and the emotions surrounding money. They are a great duo that bring fun, practical advice and innovation to the world of finance. I am sure we (and our staff) could all benefit from innovative ways on managing our finances.
Meeting Format:
· We don’t follow the format of other networking groups with a 1 minute pitch or pressure people for referrals.
· We drink tea & coffee and eat good old Pie & Peas while chatting informally.
· We are very friendly and open about improvements we have implemented; funding we have utilized, new technologies, useful suppliers and other benefits, such as, referrals to new clients that will help other attendees increase their bottom line and grow their businesses.
· We make a difference by supporting local charities.
· We are currently a combination of around 40 local manufacturing businesses, which is growing rapidly month on month.
There is a £15 entry fee which is donated to a local charity each month. This month we have Carren Bell, Lagans Foundation joining us to support children with Congenital Heart Disease and feeding difficulties. (www.lagans.org.uk)
If you would like to come along to the Manufacturers Group please contact us to arrange a guest pass. Remember you need to be a manufacturer to attend and we do not allow people to turn up on the night without prior arrangement.
