In conjunction with Manchester University, though a scheme known as Knowledge Transfer Partnership, Ritherdon have a university graduate starting at the end of February 2015.
Naveed will be looking at the Ritherdon range of products by using suitable modelling software and will be examining the behaviour of each and every product, this will include items such as strength and stiffness under the various loading conditions.
Ritherdon will also be having the product range CE marked to the appropriate standard.
Over the last couple of years, Ritherdon have listened to their customers and produced products that are needed within the industry. For the highways industry there is the Passively Safe Cabinet which shears off upon impact with all electrical cables being isolated. The second range of products are fire rated products which provide >60 minutes fire protection.
