This is just a polite reminder of some of the benefits local manufacturers would gain from attending the event:
On Thursday 2nd July, 12 – 5.30pm the first of a range of events planned to support the growth of the North West manufacturing community is taking place at the University of Bolton… Innovate 2015: Factories of the Future.
This is just a polite reminder of some of the benefits local manufacturers would gain from attending the event: The technology around the Internet of Things (IoT) enables companies to provide more offerings and yield deep insight into their products and processes. IoT is not just a marking buzzword, it has been around for years but used to be beyond reach for the SME’s, however times have changed and you need to know how you can stay ahead of the game.
On 2nd July at Innovate 2015 Stephen Edginton, Technical Director at Dot Net IT will be speaking about how IoT is now enabling manufacturers to bring to life their products and facilities. Partners collaborate to deliver Innovate 2015 for North West Manufacturers (from left to right, Martyn Shaw, University of Bolton, Rory Perrett, University of Bolton, Councillor Ebrahim Adia, Bolton Council, Jonathan Crabtree, Business Growth Hub and Gary Sheader, Chairman, Bolton Manufacturers Group). The Manufacturing Advisory Service now part of the Business Growth Service, Business Growth Hub, Bolton Manufacturers Group, University of Bolton and Bolton Council have joined forces to deliver Innovate 2015 on 2nd July 2015.
Innovate 2015 is a manufacturer’s only event that will bring together over 100 ambitious manufacturing businesses from the North West and beyond, and will provide a range of speakers who are manufacturing business owners, entrepreneurs and innovators sharing their success stories, approaches and creative ideas with their fellow manufacturing community. Historically 3D printing has been associated with design and prototyping. With the introduction of new more advanced materials and faster processes this technology carries more significance for industry now than ever before. Manufacturers can utilise this technology to create tooling and low volume production runs whilst still improving speed to market. On 2nd July 2015, Ken Whilds, Sales Director HK 3D Solutions will be speaking at Innovate 2015 on 3D printing and what the future holds for the manufacturing industry with this type of solution.
